Wolfgang Stiller (born 1961 in Wiesbaden, Germany) is a German contemporary artist known for his surreal sculptures, paintings, and installations. He studied at the University of the Arts Berlin and later lived and worked in cities including Berlin, New York, and Beijing.
Stiller is especially famous for his matchstick sculptures, particularly The Final Act, which features oversized human heads inspired by performers and actors. His work often explores identity, mortality, memory, and the relationship between the human body and everyday objects.
His art has been exhibited internationally in galleries, museums, and art fairs. His distinctive combination of realistic human forms with unusual materials gives his work a strange, dreamlike quality.
