Three Decades of Vision

In 1996, Mark Hachem opened his first contemporary art gallery in the heart of Paris, in the Marais. Eleven years later, he inaugurated a second space on Madison Avenue in New York. Following the successful opening of a Beirut gallery in 2010, Hachem further expanded his engagement with artistic movements across the Middle Eastern and Asian markets.

Over the past two decades, the gallery has showcased renowned artists, initially distinguishing itself among Parisian galleries through its focus on Kinetic art. Mark Hachem continues to exhibit leading figures of the Op Art movement while participating in major contemporary art fairs worldwide.

With more than 300 exhibitions to its credit, Mark Hachem Gallery has established an international presence through its exhibitions and participation in art fairs. Mark Hachem is also active as an adviser to public institutions and private collectors.

Retrospective at Institut du monde arabe-Tourcoing

Institut du monde arabe-Tourcoing · Curated by Nada Majdoub

Bringing together paintings, drawings, lithographs, and archival materials preserved by the artist's family, the exhibition retraces the successive phases of his life and work — from the 'Signs of Egypt' series to the anthropomorphic Arabic letterforms of his Paris years.
